DAMP FIRE-FIGHTING PLANT WITH SPRINKLERS SYSTEM
It is constituted by a net of pipelines, on which the sprinklers are fixed; they are installed in the ceiling of the places to protect. These pipelines are constantly filled with water under pressure. When the temperature of the environment, due to a fire, reaches the setting limit ( generally 68°C), one or more sprinklers open to deliver fractionated water on the zone hit by the fire; the hydraulic alarm bell, controlled by the checkup valve, gives automatically the signal. The sprinkler plant operates only on the zone hit by the flames when a limited quantity of water is required to stop the fire.
